weird plant

Can anyone identify this weird plant?  It has grown 3 times at the bottom of the garden near a dead tree.  Is this honey fungus?

    Looks like an impudent phallus to me!

    Thanks for your comments!  The name is very appropriate!  I think the slugs got to it overnight as it was decimated next day.  Scary!
