Another Identification Please

 Another Gardeners World Live purchase where I have lost the labelling. I can remember the stall holder saying it is a large evergreen shrub and the purple flower will appear until late summer. If someone could help identify I would be grateful

  • Hi Hosta-Fan, unfortunately  the flowers are different to the flower on my plant they are around a 5p size with a bright yellow centre

    looking at the lower leaves I can see they fork, so deffo not hebe. 

    Keep us posted if you find out.

  • Hi Nutcutlet , it has similar leaves but the flowers on the salicifolia has yellow flowers, mine are a deep violet with a buttercup yellow centre.

    I misunderstood. 5p size, purple, yellow centre.Is that it?image

    I've just spotted the flowerimage I don't think that's one I know

  • Hi yes small with a yellow centre lost the label whilst in the plant crèche at the show image
