Water lilies

I have just made a new pond and have put some water lilies in it. Some have had flowers blooming already and others have buds coming. What do you do with them to help them bloom again next year? Do you re pot them or give them food tablets? If so do you do this in the Spring or when? Any tips for looking after water lilies would be welcome.

Water Lilies don't need much care. The only thing you need to do is remove the rotting leaves in autumn. When your pond is shallow the roots might get frozen in the winter.

Prevent the formation of ice reaches the roots.

Waterlilies keeps the water in your pond clear. It's the best filter you can get

Hi Janebal, I've got a dwarf water lily and was told they are hungry plants so i bought some water plant food spikes and put one in. I can now see 2 flowers emerging - getting very excited.
