Again, from my new garden, any help in identifying this white flowered shrub would be appreciated.  Currently, it is about 1m high and, during the winter, its leaves were rather red.  Thanks in advance!

Hebe brachysiphon?  Itea  virginica?   I'm no good on leaves differences - just my instant reaction to the tail like flowers!

Many thanks yarrow2.  Itea virginica certainly seems to fit the bill ~ I have never heard of / come across this plant before but really appreciate your swift response.

  • I think it's Itea, the flowers seem too long for Hebe.
