Have now found out my Fabvier rose has over a 100 years of certified history in two family gardens and came from Suffolk before that from an ancesteral market garden.
@Gardengirl233... I love your 'Fabvier' rose... and I've just read that it has been with your family for a very long time in various gardens... just as well you got it from that source, as I've tried it twice from a well known supplier and got the wrong rose each time.. ... you might be interested to know that this rose has found itself in various places around the world.. in China it's known as 'White Pearl in Red Dragon's Mouth'... perhaps you can see why?...

Having had my Fabviers now for many years, I have found the bigger they grow the more thorny they get.
I have had many cuttings which take easily in a damp shady area in the garden in summer.
