Name this plant

I've been trying to find out the name of this plant but have had no luck so far. Any help would be very much appreciated!

  • Thanks for the quick reply. I looked white campion up and apparently they are very hairy which is not the case with this plant.

Could it be a white phlox?

Looks like phlox by the bud formation.

    Yep, definitely soapwort.

Lovely to see, but very invasive. I started with one small plant, and ended up with it even growing in the cracks between the paving of my patio.image

It has a sort of rhizomes which just keep growing.

  • Thank you all for replying image It turns out it is Saponaria officinalis.
