  • mostly good this year a few infected cherries i have hosed the tree regually maybe help and yellow sticky strips work well for flies a must for greenhouse and dot about the fruit trees. hope this helps have enjoyed my cherries so far with no ill effects.

  • I had this pest in my Stella cherry and blackberries last year and hoped it was a one off but sadly it returned this year and having discovered what it is Ive informed Defra. I live in Bexley on the Kent edge of greater London so it seems widespread across the south of the country at least.

  • Sorry to hear this hollytree I think i may have to resort to spray next year but i don't really like this method. Anyone got an organic cure please?
