Can anyone please tell me what kind of shrub this is?

What is wrong with it (see close up)?

And how do I cure it?

Thanks for looking.

Looks like Viburnham Tinus, with case of viburnham beetle. As I remember treat with Provado Ultimate bug killer

I am not too good on shrubs but it looks a lit like a viburnum and that could be viburnum beetle. It is a bit unsightly but I just ignore it. You can spray them but I just chop off the affected bits at the back end of the year.

It's Viburnum tinus and it looks as though the Viburnum beetle has visited,
