What is this plant?

I found this vine-like plant growing through some bushes in the garden and would like to know what it is called, if it will grow from seeds or can cuttings be taken.

regards

Ian

One of the peas. Probably the one known as everlasting pea, Lathyrus latifolius. I'd grow it from seed, thought it does spread a bit at the root and it might be worth seeing if you can get a bit of root off, I'd do that before growth started next year.

    In the sticks near Peterborough

  • Can be propagated very easily by inter nodule cuttings, after flowering.

Thanks for that info Chrissy. I have several in my garden in the NE. White purples red and pink. I grew them from seed originally they grow back well each year too well sometimes although easily thinned out. I'll give cuttings a try always like to try something new.
