What on earth???!!?

I've had a problem with greenfly on my lupins and I have sprayed them but I think it was too late. They now look awful are they dying? What has happened to them and any suggestions that may help revive them.

They look as though they've formed seed pods in spite of whatebver you sprayed them with. Aphids can be brushed of hosed off with far less damage to plant and biodiversity

Chop the tops off, give them a generous amount of water and wait for next year. Next year, keep a close eye on them or they'll do it again.
