Plant ID and advice

Thought these were nasturtiums, sure they are but they look different from my orange ones, also can anyone tell me if they are meant to have this tear in middle of inside flower, looks like an eyelash?

    Yes they are nasturtiums, very pretty ones too. Don't know the variety.

    Thank you, do you know if they are meant to have the rip looking eyelash thing in middle of flower? Or is it pests?

    That is part of their reproductive organs, so yes it is supposed to be there. In other forms it is much the same colour as the petals, so not as obvious.

    At first I thought they were courgette flowers till I had a closer look image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
