Bush ID please?

Can anyone identify this for me? It was in my garden when I moved here and I want to cut it back a bit as it's not doing much. It goes a little bit pink tinged at the end of Summer. Thanks in advance!

It's about 5ft high if that helps!
Looks like a very over grown Wiegela, has it flowered so far, as if it has it should have done by now. If not it may be something else.
I thought Weigela as well.
Interesting Tetley.
It looks just like the suckers from my chopped down cherry tree
In the sticks near Peterborough
My best guess is a Callicarpa, in picture two they look like small flower buds. Flowers are also small but generally very numerous. They can be followed by bright purple fruits which can be most attractive but it does depend on the species.
