Daughter 's wedding
I vs just seen the post about a lady's daughter's wedding. I had never thought of posting on the forum but I have exactly the same problem for my daughter's wedding at the end of May in Sussex. We too wants flowers in pots for the tables outside, assuming the weather is good! Her colour theme will be aquamarine, yellow and white. I did sow some viola cornuta alba but so far nothing has come up so I'm thinking of plug plants. Help! Would they be big enough by the end of May and similarly we have to transport them from Cumbria to Sussex. Thanks in advance for any help.

Your best bet would be small terracotta pots of herbs, you would be able to pick these up very economically the week before the wedding and they would travel quite happily. They would also make nice mementos for guests or the bride and groom.
Growing for a May wedding is notouriously difficult as a cold or warm April drastically affects your timing and you really need to grow three times as many as you need. You may find plugs of violas nearer the time .

If you start them off yourself you have only 3 months to get therm how yoyu want them, so not a huge amount of time. I would think about getting to the garden centre now to see whats ready. You need to make sure its flowering at the right time though.
I think I'd wait til it was nearly time and purchase then . Let someone else bring them on
