What is this weed??

Please can SOMEONE tell me what this weed is. It pesters me every year! It is similar to a dandelion but has a root system underground and pops up everywhere. I cannot upload a picture so can only describe it as very dandelion like in the leaves but a slightly lighter colour. It's roots get everywhere and it is impossible to get rid of it naturally!

    I have tried to post a photo and no luck. Might try from another gadget! Eep a look out if you can as I would love to know what it is

    Blue onion thanks but it is not this. It may have yellow flowers if I allow it to grow enough but it is the leaves that are dandelion like. I'll try and upload a photo very soon.

    Try again and this time ignore the error message - just wait and see if it uploads - there's a bit of a blip on the forum re pics at the moment but most of the time it works - if you just carry on. image

    Could be hawks beard which is like a small dandilion
