It's a wonderful cool morning here in the Russian countryside.

We are about ready to store our Narcissus bulbs.

I have heard the best way to store the bulbs is to suspend in cut off old tights in a dry place.....as my wife is not a fan of tights  and it is not something I would to pop around to the neighbor to ask for .....what is the best way to store your bulbs till replanting please?

If you have no ready supply of tights then do you haveaccess to nylon stockings?  If not then you can use the sort of net bags that onions are sold in (well they are in the UK - not sure about Russian onions) or make a bag from net curtains or any small guage netting.

Many thanks , we normally just wrap them in newspaper and keep them in a dry place but as we started to look at the UK forums we thought maybe there is a better wayimage

We are already into the planting and flowering season . Lots of veggies been planted to pickle for the winter , a very Russian thing . Will show some more pics of the dacha as things liven up image
