Pruning a Victoria Plum minature tree

I read in the GW that it is best to prune a Victoria Plum at6 end June or in July. Can any one advise how much I need to cut off the branch

    Does it need pruning?  Most plums don't really need routine pruning.

    Yes it needs pruning to keep it compact
