Then and Now.....

Thought I would share some pics of my garden; we moved in six years ago to an "uncared for" garden and I know absolutely nothing about gardening but thought I'd give it a go..now I'm hooked!!

I tend to go for shrubs that don't need to much looking after because I'm a novice but am secretly quite proud of how it's turning out...I'm still no good at pruning though, I never know which bits to cut off!! Hubby has started a small veggie plot which is something he has never attempted before; I will post pic later to see what everyone thinks image

You deserve Gold Stars all the way.  Been there, done that but never stayed long enough in one place until now  to get that far and where I am isn't suitable for anything large scale

Thanks for the comments folks, been sitting out in it this morning, it's a heatwave here in my part of scotland today...quite frustrating this year as I am recovering from a full knee replacement op so can't do much in the garden, very tempting but best not!! image

Thanks Susan, I live in Dumfriesshire just two miles from the shore. I wouldn't live anywhere else now, it's so peaceful here! I've flitted about quite a bit over the years in both England and Scotland but now back where I belong image

Looks great.  I imagine the fence and planting help as windbreaks?
