What to do with unused space?

I have a space between greenhouse and OHs large shed which at the moment has a water butt at garden end but back end just old pots and who knows what , my plan is to clear away nettles from fence area (neighbours chickens behind here) , get some membrane or something down on soily sections and gravel up to flags (which go around the shed) , seems a wasted space, do i just use as storage or build in some cold frames , won't get sun though due to shade of shed and 6ft fence . Do cold frames need sun?

What about a stumpery with ferns and other interesting things, Some grow really tall and would hide water butt. You could gravel up to the permanent stumps etc
Or more water butts
How much space are we talking about?
In the sticks near Peterborough
Cold frames need a well lit spot most of the time- like a greenhouse -it is half way spot between that and the garden
Post a picture bunny so we can see the area
Right its old pic, see what you mean about shade. its about metre wide and nothing there really . thought of moving butt forward to front of shed and had a "matching one" other side and put something or other to disguise giving me ease to walk into said gap. can get right round but i block due to nosey dog and her ass /tail whacking glass!
Think I would leave it as it is-you need a spot to store stuff-perhaps also use it as spot for storing black bags of leaves for leaf mould?
Very clean glass btw -can see right through it as if it wasn't there
Put in another water butt to use as a useful block
Bags of leaves ? I put those in bin ...***hides from backlash***
I shall do something with it
