courgette

Hi everyone yesterday I half broken the main stem on one of my three courgette plants l didn't want to sow anymore so straight away I wrapped some cello tape around it and it's worked the plant still looks OK, has anybody else done that?

    Hi All

    Where I garden its very windy and I have often had cause to attempt repairs to snapped stems. Its always been shrubby things such as redcurrants and blackcurrants and blueberries that I`ve successfully mended with tape, interesting to know it can work with other plants too Logan.

    Wishbone as long as it's done straight away I think that it would work
