Do you know the name of the plant that they are on? Different butterflies and moths like different plants.

Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
  • thanks  for the replies. i  don't know what the plant is, i bought it at poundland last year, and this year repotted it, it is now about 4 feet high, has spindly stems with frond like leaves, and has quite small flowers which look like the middles of sunflowers, but i dont know what colour they are going to be. so not much help.i have looked on the net at shield bug eggs, and they do look like them. i will be watching out to see what happens.  i love shield bugs!
