Plant ID please anyone

I have tow mystery plants that I don't know if I sowed them or they are weeds.  The first has frilly leaves (showing salvia for scale)

This one looks like a weed but it's only growing in one corner so maybe I planted it (welsh poppy for scale)

I'd be very grateful if anyone could help to identify these.

By the way I can only get the photos on sideways - sorry.

    First looks like ragwort weed.

    Second like Honesty.

    Someone hopefully will know.

Don't know the second one cloud8 but the first looks like ragwort. I have it in my garden and its the host plant for the cinnabar moth image

Oh yes, it is ragwort (just Googled it).  What a shame, as it has such nice leaves.  Well I'll just have to dig it up now.  I'm not sure about the other one being honesty.  I have grown honesty in that patch, so it could be but the leaves on my plants were much smaller.  Thanks very much for your help. image

Oh right, so maybe I shouldn't dig it up then.  Don't want to upset any wildlife.

The point against honesty is that being biennial it's either very tiny right now or the flowers are over and the seed pods are forming. That plant looks as though it's coming up to flower. Could you do another couple of photos from different angles?

Yes, I'm inclined to agree with you.  The honesty that has just finished flowering had much smaller leaves than this plant.  This plant's leaves are about the size of my hand.  This is the plant closer up.

That second one could be Inula, the leaves are the right shape and size.
