What is this plant called its in a garden near mine but the owner doesn't know what it is.

Its spreads right across his fence you can't see it on the photo but it must be about 20ft does montana do that
Oh yes that's what a Montana does! covered our entire garage when I was hound, you just drove the car in a hole in the front of the plant!
Lol was meant to say when I was young but my mother would probably say spellcheck was Freudian!
I too have a Clematis montana Grandiflora 'alba' and it provides a roof and walls on a quite large pergola, with hardly a gap to be seen.
I've been looking for a plant like this to cover my fence at the bottom of my garden i'm growing sweetpeas at the moment but i don't think i'll get this affect with the sweetpeas but we'll see
Could i take a few cuttings off this plant and start it off myself?
