Parsnip Failure.
Anyone else having problems getting parsnips to germinate this year? Last year I sowed three types of parsnip seed [3 to each station] and every single one grew. This year I have planted Gladiator [fresh seed, again 3 to each station] and only about 20% have germinated! I know parsnips can be fickle but this is daft!
Also, I plant Marvel of 4 Seasons lettuce each year but this time the lettuce are coming up as something entirely different. A large red cos! I shall no longer use this company [shall remain nameless] as it is not the first disappointment I have had with their seed.

I use the seed from Wilko, can't remember the variety but they germinate ok for me, but I sow thickly on heavy clay soil and sow radish at the same time in the same drill. I never pay a fortune for anything, but I am tight.
I sow Hollow Crown, Kings Seeds. They germinate pretty well.
I had 100% germination with mine. I use a small plastic zip bag with damp compost and seeds put in it. Then the bag goes in my airing cupboard and they germinate in 3-5 days. All my flower seeds are germinated this way and 95% of my veg seeds.
Mine seem to be growing great got mine from wilko's as well.Having said that don't know whats happening in the soil i've been told they can be hard to grow if the soil isn't right eg stoney which mine seems to be in places but fingers crossed
