Re-potted rose wilting
in Plants
I have just re-potted a large climbing rose. Its roots had made their way into the ground about a foot and the roots (3 or 4) were about an inch across. I successfully pulled them and cut them out and repotted in good compost in a bigger pot. There were plenty of other roots still intact. Since then, the leaves are wilted and seems to be feeling very sorry for itself. Will it buck up or have I done something awful?

It won't be pleased, you'll need to cut back some top to balance up the root loss. I'd cut pretty hard at this time of year, the top will be losing moisture and the roots not taking it up
