stags horn problem

We have a problem with a stagshorn. We have 4 in the back garden, 3 are ok but the 4th looks like it is dying. The leaves look like they have been burnt and are wilting. Please help as my wife loves them.

  • No it's not close to the lawn and I  never use a strimmer by it. Will try to put a pic on later.

Is the poorly one more exposed than the others - does it catch the wind or frost more than them?  I've seen tender new sumach leaves really badly damaged by cold weather, especially if the leaves opened in a warm spell and then the weather turned cold again.

Hi Diamond you have stags horns ..Sumach. I had one in my garden and it was lovely but threw suckers up all over feet away in the end we had to dig it out. I would not worry about one looking ill, soz but I'd be worried how much the other three will spread.
