Avocado Tree/Sappling

Hello fellow gardeners.

For a month ago i began to sprout an avocado. I'm exited about how fast and beautiful the avocado is turning out to be.

Is anyone here sprouting an avocado? Or do some of you have a few years old avocado tree? Then share, it could fun to see.

I have one growing outside between our two compost bins - that's where it came from.  It's survived two winters outside, sheltered as it is between the two bins.  We shall wait to see what happens image

A Candian friend had one indoors in his house in Quebec, it was massive. I grew a small one. That was over 20 years ago.

@Dovefromabove Do you know the variety of your avocado? image

I live in Denmark and my avocado is from my uncle's farm in Spain. Im afraid that my avocado wont be able to survive the cold danish winters.image

Absolutely no idea Erik - I buy avocados from the local farm shop - lots of the stones sprout in the compost heap, but because this one is in such a sheltered spot it's the only one that has survived two winters - I'll have to ask if they know which variety they are.
