I think that says more about the neighbours than it does about you Rich image

I'm not even into my 30s and have never had comment passed about my gardening aside from "you can do ours when you're finished".

I remember in my twenties doing it at dusk, hoping nobody would see!

I get a few surprised faces but yes I also get the "You can do ours when you're finished" comment.

People don't seem to be surprised when they see me pottering about in the garden. I think most people are used to seeing me now. I get the same comment "You can do my garden "

I think I get more looks when I am visiting the GC

  • I definitely get a few look at the GC, specially when I'm loading up on compost.

I always think it's lovely to see 'young people' gardening. I only had a flat till I was in my thirties, but it had a tiny strip about 1 metre by 2 in front of the bay window which I tended. I had the bug properly then image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I remember being stopped and told how hoeing should be done.

It turned out she was the local NAFAS president who was putting me right. We were friends till she died.  She taught me sooooo much
