What "sort" are they? I would love a lavender hedge (or wee bunch really) and I have what I consider the ideal spot....but then I thought that when I put the thyme in and it keeled over!
Ooo can i query that Vendun, ive got lavender foxglove, echinacea plugs - i thought i was doing them a favour keping them in the greenhouse! Do they all need to go outside?
I bought the tiny plugs. As soon as they arrived l potted them into bigger seed trays to grow and kept them in the greenhouse. I used ordinary part peat/crushed bark compost They still look the same. I have just potted them all into 9cm pots. They are still looking healthy and in the greenhouse but not really growing. What should l do. Help??? Irene
@NewBoy2 .......when is a good time to take cuttings? I lost so many over the years, 2 again this year. I've one surviving plant, I don't want to buy anymore lol

Cut off a 6 inch piece and strip away the bottom leaves and cover the bare wood in rooting powder and place in a 3 inch pot.
Its a bit hit and miss but over a cpouple os seasons you should be good to go.
A neighbour may be happy to give you some cuttings from their existing shrub.
Good Luck.
