I bought the tiny plugs. As soon as they arrived l potted them into bigger seed trays to grow and kept them in the greenhouse. I used ordinary part peat/crushed bark compost  They still look the same. I have just potted them all into 9cm pots. They are still looking healthy and in the greenhouse but not really growing. What should l do. Help??? Irene

If these dont work out I have successfully grown a 25 yard long hedge of lavenders.

Cut off a 6 inch piece and strip away the bottom leaves and cover the bare wood  in rooting powder and place in a 3 inch pot.

Its a bit hit and miss but over a cpouple os seasons you should be good to go.

A neighbour may be happy to give you some cuttings from their existing shrub.

    Good Luck.

Mary370 you're new to,free from pests and disease.

Not sure how your weather compares to Bristol but the addition of a Drop of Guinness will help !!

    Dingle was amazing

Some cuttings will die , some will take months and some will chop chop .

I try planting them in rooting powder but never known id it makes any difference.

Its like children. One will never eat his sprouts !!
