Hi Jean, what plant are you asking about? Is it an ivy, I don't know one called Crimson Glory.
I have heard Vitus cognetiae called crimson glory but maybe other things are as well
If It's an ivy it will climb and smother anything it gets near eventually. Vitis c would need better soil to do well, but if it does well it's massive. Are the conifers dead or just old?
