Forest Flame

My forest flame shrub had some nice red leaves then just after a few days the leaves turned brown, but not falling off, leaves further down the plant are still red but not too many of them, anyone have any ideas and how to treat?

Possibly frost damage, if not it needs watering.

Mine got blasted by the recent frost and looks exactly as you describe.  Best to just leave it, it will produce some more leaves later in the season.

my camellias got frosted too - their leaves are the worst i have ever seen them - looks like someone has gone round with a blow torchimage.  A frost after all that warm weather was always going to wreak havocimage

Thanks for your replies, it is possible that frost has got to it although we have never had this before and as we live in Scotland, we're used to the frost.image
