Hello Everyone
This plant is in my Mam and Dads garden they would like to know what it is
Thanks
Baz
Can't see it very clearly - picture won't enlarge, but if it's flowering now, from the colour and the way it's growing I think it's an aubretia

They say it flowers this time every year does that help anyone
It looks like Aubretia I'll tell them thanks dove
Phlox subulata/douglasii flower now too. Close up of the flowers etc. would help no end.
It looks like them also Berghill i'll get some more photo's
I agree with Dovefromabove that it is an Aubretia. The flowers only have 4 petals like the ones in the picture. Phlox has 5.
Here is a better photo so everyone should be able to zoom in.
Its about the size of a beach ball if that helps

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
