Lawn Feed Stains on Patio

My husband applied Westland Lawn feed with a hand spreader. Without realising it, the granules spread on to light coloured patio slabs and the following morning they were stained with a rust colour. He has tried using the Karcher power washer without any effect and we are looking for a cleaning product that would tackle this problem.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Can anyone suggest a solution.

Any and all advice will be gratefully received.

    I'd get in touch with the company. This sort of thing must happen all the time.

    Hi Phyllis, did exactly the same thing about two years ago, even though there is a warning on the packaging image Check out www.pavingexpert.com/stains I tried the lemon juice and although it didn't get rid of it completely, it did help a bit. Good luck
