Tonight I'll be watching a show in French. It's from Belgian broadcaster RTBF.

They have older clips on the site as well, including a recent one about Beth Chatto.

I also lament the excellent BBC gardening message boards.

A thriving community destroyed on a whim.

I immediately cancelled my TV licence and unplugged the aerial.

Been lurking ever since and signed up last week.

Hi Darren, Yes, a pity that the Beeb closed its message boards, but this forum is just as good. Loads of really nice, helpful people here image.

No such drastic action from me with regards to cancelling TV licences though image, because I live in The Netherlands, so no British TV licence. We get BBC One and Two on the cable here.

Hope you'll enjoy being on this forum image.

For today I’ve got two German programmes.

First this one from one of the regional German broadcasters.

Just scroll down the page until you see the picture with the tomato plants in little pots and click on that to watch the programme.

They have also uploaded it onto youtube.

The other one comes from the local TV station in Berlin.

This is a special about all sorts of gardens, mainly community gardens and allotments, in Berlin.

    Could be fun to watch.

For today I've got an American programme. They put their shows on YouTube, so easy to watch image. Unfortunately they also include the commercialsimage.

Here is the site of the programme. Not updated yet though.

    http://www.gardentime.tv/thisweek.htm

And the link to the latest show on YouTube.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqyA4MlFHI4

This is what's in the latest episode...

On this week's show we check out a patio makeover, we look at Mother's day vegetable containers, we learn about a tomato plant grafted to a potato plant, we visit the rhododendron and peony festivals. We see a grape that fits on your patio, learn about moles, voles and gophers, get some hanging basket tips, we make a planter out of pavers, learn how to keep cats out of a raised bed and taste a liqueur made from Iris roots.

    Enjoy! image

Thank goodness Gardeners World is back tonight image. I've got a few other bits to watch today too though  image.

First a French one. This is one which you'll either love or hate image.

And an American one. This one is a bit like GQT, but then on TV.

They seem to upload the programmes on YouTube before they update their site image.

On this week’s episode of Mid-American Gardener host Dianne Noland and panelists Jim Angel, Jennifer Fishburn, and John Bodensteiner answer your emails and phone calls. They cover topics ranging from how to tell the difference between dew and rain in your rain gauge to adding calcium to your tomatoes with eggshells. Send us your questions at [email protected] or find us on Facebook by searching MidAmericanGardener.

Hello Kleipieper, image I'm new to gardening so have been trying to take in as much as possible from where ever I can find it!

My latest favorite is how to be a gardener with Alan Titchmarsh, found it on YouTube and its so helpful for me!

I'm afraid I'm also a newbie at this blog board thing so haven't yet tried adding links! image
