Another scorcher of a day here in The Netherlands!
And not many gardening programmes on the web today.
The American programme Garden Time has the following:
This week on the show we visit a lighthouse garden, we check out the local berry festival and learn how to pick fruit, we visit with an author of a new iris book, we prep you home and garden for the 4th of July, we visit a local food education group and see a pan that will help prevent major leaks under your dishwasher.
I hope the hot weather hasn't made you go into melt-down and that your gardens are surviving it without too much damage. Still very hot here in The Netherlands, but at least last night we had some much needed rain.
Here is today's harvest from the web. The latest episode of Landträume is all about gardens in the Potsdam district of Berlin.
Still very hot here in The Netherlands and today the Tour de France starts here. Could be interesting with huge crowds of people in that heat.
Here are the latest gardening programmes I found on the web. Gardening Australia should appear after 12.00 and here is what's in today's show.
Park for the People: Costa visits a vibrant and colourful garden that's bringing people together from all walks of life to grow vegetables, teach kids and inspire creativity.
FAQs - Black Spot | Weeds | Cool Climate Lemons: Your most asked questions from emails, letters and Facebook.
Frosty Flats: Sophie visits a stunning country garden bursting with colour despite experiencing searing heat in summer and hard frost in winter.
Plant Profile - Easter Daisy: Jane profiles an old fashioned plant making a comeback - the Aster.
Cold Crops: Jerry plants out crops that are perfectly suited to the subtropical winter, including watercress, chervil and climbing beans.
Knockout Natives: Angus profiles some of his favourite native plants for potted colour and shows how to keep them thriving.
Simply Formal: John explores the basic elements of formal garden design.
Many garden programmes have ended or are having a holiday break. Jardins et Loisirs has all sorts of special little clips. This time about greenhouses.
Thanks for that link David, I hadn't seen that one yet.
I'm always amazed at the strange characters yo see at YouTube . I don't think I'll be watching clips with that guy anymore though. Not exactly my favorite .

Heavy thunderstorms forecast here in The Netherlands later today. I hope the garden will get some rain, and it will get less hot at last.
I've found two programmes on the web today.
