Good morning everyone,
It's getting hotter again today here in The Netherlands, so gardening will have to wait until the evening.
Lots of new programmes on the web today.
The latest episode of Landträume is all about gardens and landscapes in the Versilia region north of Pisa in Italy.
The Austrian Natur im Garten visited the garden of someone who has always worked in nurseries and who has a lot of plants in the garden which were about to be thrown away by the nursery.
I also found the latest episode of the French un Jardin en Nous.
The latest episode of the Wisconsin Vegetable Gardener has bits about how to plant non GMO soybeans and why, shows how to make strawberry butter and talks about what to do with volunteers in your garden.
I also found a programme on ARTE which is called Peace Parks, Mandela's Last Dream. Not really about gardening, but about his dream to use nature, plants and flowers to help bring peace.
And finally the last episode of my local Dutch gardening pergramme Tuinen van Kleijs. He visited another local estate garden, a project to put plants on the roof of a car park in the middle of Arnhem for a few months and he visited garden designer Piet Oudolf at his home and garden in Hummelo.
Have a great day, and take care if you're out and about in the sun!
Another scorcher of a day here in The Netherlands!
And not many gardening programmes on the web today.
The American programme Garden Time has the following:
This week on the show we visit a lighthouse garden, we check out the local berry festival and learn how to pick fruit, we visit with an author of a new iris book, we prep you home and garden for the 4th of July, we visit a local food education group and see a pan that will help prevent major leaks under your dishwasher.
I also found a German programme where the "garden doctor" gives advice on al sorts of things, like for instance mildew and aphids.
I'm afraid hat's it for today.
Have a lovely day, whatever you're doing!
I hope the hot weather hasn't made you go into melt-down and that your gardens are surviving it without too much damage. Still very hot here in The Netherlands, but at least last night we had some much needed rain.
Here is today's harvest from the web. The latest episode of Landträume is all about gardens in the Potsdam district of Berlin.
Silence, ça Pousse! seems to have been on air every day for the last few days . All the videos here.
A few days ago RBB had a programme about gardens in England.
And Master Gardening is all about day lilies.
I'm off into the garden before it gets really hot. Strawberries to pick for breakfast.
Have a good day!
Still very hot here in The Netherlands and today the Tour de France starts here. Could be interesting with huge crowds of people in that heat.

And finally the latest episode of that Dutch programme where they replace pavement in a garden with plants.
Have a lovely Saturday!
Heavy thunderstorms forecast here in The Netherlands later today. I hope the garden will get some rain, and it will get less hot at last.
I've found two programmes on the web today.
Frst one about an Austrian guy called Günther Klösch. He's mad about bonsai trees and owns one of the largest collections outside Japan.
And the German garden programme Garten has been out and about visiting local gardens.
Have a lovely Sunday!
Fortunately it's less hot here in The Netherlands than it has been over the past days. Temperatures are back to the mid-twenties.
Here is today's harvest from the web.
Arte aired the last of its 4-part series about historic gardens in eastern Europe.
Or if you prefer the French version...
Many garden programmes have ended or are having a holiday break. Jardins et Loisirs has all sorts of special little clips. This time about greenhouses.
That's all for today.
Have a lovely day, whatever you're doing.
My own favourite web gardener,,,,,..a real gem & threat to Mr Don.
