In flower now

Just looking around my very young garden at whats in flower now and I still have a delphinium in bloom, a shirley poppy, roses, argyranthemum, snap dragons, wild carrot and lavender. I have primroses, wallflowers, winter honeysuckle, pansies and violas, virburnum and violets. I even have annual sweet peas still growing but no flowers. Most of my spring bulbs are through with buds showing. My wild flowers are up and growing well too.

One of the bonuses of living in the South West I guess.

  • I live the south west and I have seen sweet peas in flower but I have to say I have not as many flowers as you must be in the sheltered bit.image

I live in the South West, but in France. Must be much colder here in Winter, only thing out is a rather bedraggled Christmas rose!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I spent the day gardening today, my lilac is sprouting leaves galore, roses are in flower, bluebells are half grown and my st johns wort is sprouting like crazy. My plants dont seem to know its winter.. I just hope that when the cold does come it doesnt set them back too far.
