pelargonium cuttings
my mum broke off 2 stems from my ivy leaf pelargonium last week ( it's been floweing all winter in our open porch ) she put them in water and said they'd root...they seem to possibly be ( although it may be my wishful thinking ) but she's never taken hers any further, could anyone advise me please? one stem has flowers, the other leaves, they're both about 6 inches at the moment, thanks in advance

I don't know anything about pelargonium cuttings but flowers are generally not encouraged on other type of cuttings. I think it diverts the plant's energies away from growing roots maybe.
Just leave them in a container of water. Should get roots.
