Leaf fall

Please can anyone advise me? I have the plant Diamantina JADE  "red" and the leaves have started drying up and falling, should this happen.
There appears to be new shoots coming through from where the old leaves have fallen off.

I didn't think this was a deciduous plant.

  • Whereabouts have you got this plant?

It sounds as if it will survive if it's shooting from the base, but it's from a tropical climate  and needs to be kept above 45F minimum, preferably around 60F at night  and up to 85F in the daytime,  and performs best in filtered sunlight.

Cut it back in the spring to keep it fairly compact image

  • Thank-you for your advice, I rthink our kitchen was  bit cold at night so we have moved it into a warmer room and hopefully it will it will now be alright.

    Thanks again
