uploading photos

I have uploaded photos before, but it doesn't work anymore. I click on the oak tree, then select and my photo files come up but then it seems stuck and they won't upload onto the forum. Is it my computer or this site?

BL-try the alternative I suggested the other day-upload to a photo sharing site than download them on here using the direct limk option

Perhaps the photos you are trying to load are too big?-you can try downsizing themimage

Good heavens, it's Geoff again!! Thanks, I'll have to practice that, I've never done it before, bit nervous about computers. More at home with gardening and horses!

Since my message above in 2012 and with coaching from Geoff who was here then I have learnt a lot more about using a laptop image

  • I am a new today member.I have managed to  post (Brassica problems!) but cannot fathom how to upload a photo. This would be really helpful as I am asking for help identifying a leaf problem,a leaf problem none of you can see!

Click on the icon that looks like a postcard. Then click on choose files. Select your photo. Click on done. When it's loaded post it 😊

But do as B3 says and your photo will probably load up sideways. No one knows why; it’s witchcraft. To circumvent it, before you upload the pictures crop them just a little and then you’ll have no problems. Actually, should have no problems. If the picture has too many megapixels it will refuse to load and you have to reduce the size. If you have no idea what this means or how to do it, collar a passing 8 year old child. They know.
