we are looking into the greener form of energy available and wonder if anyone has first hand knowledge of Bio Mass? It s a compressed wood pellet system

I would really appreciate some reviews if anyone has taken this step already?

thanks

  • Bio Mass systems are good but they need to be run at full burn to be truly efficient so require a thermal store this stores all the excess heat normally in large water tank  this is connected to heat exchangers allowing heating and hot water to be used as required.

I have been involved as a consultant of a number of these over the years from domestic to industrial steam generating systems.

You will also need to be sure you can get a regular supply of pellets at a good price because you may be saving money but the cost of transporting them may still cost more in CO2 damage!!

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.
