Weeping Cherry Tree mystery

I have a weeping cherry tree in my front garden, which is quite old, at least 25 years old!  It has always produced lovely pink blossom at this time of year.  I have noticed, this year for the first time it has produced small white flowers on one branch! The rest of the tree has pink blossom as usual. What is my tree trying to say to me!!

It will be a grafted tree, the white will be from below the graft. Cut it off, the growth on that will be stronger and faster growing than the pink and will take over

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • Thanks nutcutlet, mystery solved.  Will go out there tomorrow and sort it!
