very fast growing shrubs!?

Desperately needing some fast growing big shrubs to cover back garden fence for privacy from neighbours kids is driving me and misses nuts they are constantly at us we have no privacy and peace to ourselves, we avoid sitting out on a sunny day because of it, what are some fast growing shrubs that bush out and get big(6ft+) misses wants them to be evergreen and flower from spring til end of summer if possible, i wanted leylandii but shes told me no because she hates conifers and we have a few already. You can buy 6ft bamboo from the likes of B&Q and Homebase relatively cheaply and they give instant privacy. Fargesia bamboo are the best to go for.

Thanks everyone will look into those listed a bit more, What about lavatera? As Im quite fond of them got one round the front and they grow really quick would like a fast growing mixture like 3-6 mixed fast growing flowering shrubs as would like to be able to enjoy peace in our garden after work this summer would be ideal. Thanks Sam

How climbers? Our honeysuckle grows about 2 inches a day, it's going nuts! A few weeks ago I heaped some manure on it and i think that has helped wanders!

Hi Sam.

get yourself a couple of cytisus x spachianus shrubs. I bought one 3 years ago this summer, it was a foot tall and is now 2 metres high by 2 wide at its widest part, I do prune it, and it would probably be another metre high if the snow last spring didn't snap the top off. It has yellow fragrant flowers, if supposed to be spring flowering but mine flowers all year including winter.
