Why are my seedlings yellowish

I'm growing some Zinnia seeds but they're coming up fairly pale and insipid looking, certainly not green and healthy as I would expect.  What's gone wrong?  I'm growing them in a poly tunnel in seed compost.

The first pair of leaves (cotyledons) are often yellowish as they;re actually part of the seed and have not had enough light to photosynthesise.

Is it these first leaves that you're worried about or have they passed that stage and have proper leaves which are still pale?

I had the same problem with some of my seeds, but they are all green and happy little seedlings now
