Louvres in Greenhouses

Liz26Liz26 Posts: 7

Hi, I would like some advice on putting a louvre in a greenhouse.   I have two to fit an 8 x 12 not sure where is the best place to site them.    I have four automatic roof vents to fit as well.

Thanks

You are going to have a very well ventilated greenhouse there! Which is a good thing.image

Here's my choice. Put one of the louvres in the end opposite the door so you can get a through draught. Put the other mid way along a side wall opposite the side that gets the prevailing wind. That way the air will be sucked out rather than blown in - less direct.

    I'll second Pansyface's advice. image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Thank you for the response, it is very much appreciated,   I will definitely take your advice.   I have just bought a greenhouse, started erecting it today, hopefully will finish it tomorrow.  What a fiddle!!!

They are a fiddle, but you only have to do it once.

    Good luck.image
