Thanks everyone, I think this is plastic and cheap looking so probably more of a bee hostel rather than hotel! I am very new to gardening so what do I want one of these for?
Bees are friends. The more bees you can encourage in your garden the better for pollinating things. Giving them somewhere to hibernate and sleep keeps them coming back for you. This sort of hostel works for solitary bees, rather than the honey bees that live in colonies/hives.
