That is all very interesting folks. I have detached a small amount of spawn and put it in a solid pot with pond water and a plant or too and left the pot by the side of the pond to give a few a chance to develop. There are shallow areas of the pond and lots of plants and pebbles so one or two may survive.there appear to be gnat larvae in the pot which was in the pond water so the gold fish are not eating everything.

What about the frogs/nuets eatting the goldfish?
HI I'm not sure whether there are any fish that I can purchase that won't eat my poor tadpoles

Do minnows or sticklebacks eat them because surely there mouths are too small.
