Cosmos Choca Mocha

Can anyone help with this beautiful plant, its in my greenhouse at the moment in full flower looking lovely, but the thing is now what do i do with it over the winter, ?? do i cut it back, or leave it to die back ??

    They are best treated like dahlias. Chop off all the folliage, dig up the tuber and keep somewhere frost free until the spring when you start again and can look forward to another great display next year.

  • What would you store it in? Is it really risky to leave it out in the garden? I live in Cambridgeshire which is quite mild.

    Cambridgeshire is had minus 14C last winter, (or maybe it was the one before) and frozen ground for weeks, the pond was frozen to 12inches. I wouldn't expect to see a choc cosmos in the spring after that.
