Hi, to fill in the gap between gardeners world coming through my letter box, I was looking at the garden news mag. Anyone have this or know what it's like??

  • Morning Catseyes???? l just like you I am waiting for next G W mag to arrive so I purchased gardeners news for something to read (it did have a free packet of seeds as well)  It was ok but Not like GW.  On the back of the T&M seeds it said there was atrial offer of the magazine 4copies for£1 .when I phoned to try this it wanted me to subscribe to get the first 4 copies cheaper.image ok but not sure I would want the magazine every week image

I 'll just buy it if and when I fancy or if I think the seeds on the front are worth it image

Have a good St Patrick's day hoping it doesn't rain image

  • Thanks for that image I was looking at tesco offer on it. 3 months for ??8 of tesco vouchers, which I think works out as 50p a copy?? Then once that expires if i don't like it, I don't have to remember to cancel.

It is wet at the moment but hoping the sun comes out! Hope you have a great St Patrick's

I love my gardeners world mag too, I also get Garden Answers Mag as they cover slightly different things.  then as a real treat I may get one of the posh garden ones every once in a while, oh so many lovely magazines out there imageimage

  • I subscribed to Garden News for two years, I have just stopped only because after two years the articles seem to repeat themselves. But don't let that put you off, I found it very easy to read in a bright lively format. So yes, go for Garden News. It works out cheaper if you can subscribe and you get free seeds!

  • Hi again catseyesimage are the Tesco vouchers in the booklet sent when you receive your quarterly loyalty tokens or in the magazine?  I noticed in the newsagents that there are 2packets of seeds on this week's  magazineimageimage so I will get a copy and ask in Tesco's about the deal image

  • I logged on to the account online where you trade in your tesco points for tokens. I am going to try it out tonight but seems the best deal so far for it

I buy it every now and again, sometimes has useful stuff in. Seeds are good but am picky about which ones I buy otherwise would end up with seeds don't need.

Do like the gardening this week section, quite a good memory jogger for thing that should have been done, should be done.

Kitchen Garden is a good one to subscribe to, it's monthly but along with the gardening I liked the recipe's.
