I've never known a laurel that needed any encouragement. Be careful what you wish for.image

Well I am trying to grow a nice thick hedge with them, right near to a mature  oak tree, so anything I can give to them to encourage growth is very welcome!

They will grow when the growing season starts, thats when it warms up a bit, planted these about 3 years ago, poor ground just a bit of compost in the bottom, keep the tops pinched out of all shoots, they will soon romp away.

If and I mean if you want to feed it, growmore is more than enough. But best to give it a chance first.

  • What's the best way to get nutrients to an established fruit tree?

My Cherry trees are 10-15 yrs old and have requested extra help this year.

Should I water something in? If so, near the trunk or not?

    Any suggestions very welcome
