Rhododendron

I have several rhododendron all but one is healthy.  This plant has droopy leaves that are dry and brown.  This has happened for the last couple of years.  It seems to revive but looks awful at the moment.  All are fed in the same way.  Any ideas please.

Could the wrong-un be an azaleodendron? Rhododendron type flowers but deciduous like an azalea

There  have been reports of this with rhododendrons potted into  peat free ericaceous compost. If that is what you are using, pot on regularly and make sure it is kept free draining and not getting compacted. image

PS that is assuming they are even in pots, you don't say, but it might help to give the position, soil, in pots or not etc.

Thank you all for your advice.  It is definitely a Rhododendron.  It is in soil not in a pot and is fed with fertiliser especially for rhododendrons/azaleas. It flowers well but the leaves are awful !!  Please keep the advice coming.

I will have the label somewhere in my shed.  I will look tomorrow and get back to you (pansyface) if I find it.
