Late last summer I planted a few coriander plants in my allotment hoping to get a crop before the frost. To my surprise they have survived and look healthy. I now need to use that ground to prepare for potatoes and wonder if I can successfully transplant the coriander to a different sunny position.

I think I'll try moving one and harvest the rest.

The one I moved suffered no ill effects so I gradually moved the rest over several weeks and they are all doing fine, even one in semi shade. Made sure I kept the roots and attached soil in place. Potatoes planted in their place!
